We are based in Salford Water Sports Centre, in Salford Quays, not far from Manchester city centre. We attract regular members from all around the Manchester area and throughout the Northwest. We welcome players of all abilities and we have an inclusive club philosophy with a strong emphasis on having fun at training sessions, and this has translated into a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere at training and tournaments

We have multiple teams in the National League and Yorkshire League structure and are committed to entering a Ladies and Youth team when there is sufficient intrest. We are also highly active in the summer tournaments. In the past we have sent teams as far as Ireland and Belgium as well as competing in the Liverpool, Hull, London, Cardiff internationals and the National Championships. 

Training Sessions are on Wednesdays 6pm to 8pm at Salford Watersports Centre, 15 The Quays, Salford Quays, M50 3SQ

MCC Canoe Polo Summer Program


The formalized training development plan is created to stimulate progress in our polo skills, good team play and to have fun in the process. With a greater knowledge of the canoe polo rules, a focus on polo skills and more experience practicing together as a team we can be really successful in 2011. The principles here are taken from various Canadian, US and UK teams. No previous canoe polo experience is required. Participants can be taught to roll a kayak as part of the program. All equipment is provided.



  • Improve core canoe polo boat and ball skills
  • Learn the polo rules and rehearse set plays
  • Become proficient as teams to win games & tournaments

Program Begins May 1st 2011 – Ends October 31st (depending on weather)

Program Coach –

Program Practice Schedule Wednesday 7.00pm – 9.00pm, Sunday 1.00pm – 3.00pm


Cost: Canoe Polo only program is $300 + HST ($200 + HST for spouse or child). Canoe Polo program as an add-on to Sprint program is $150 + HST.

We will have two goals on the water, which need to be set and removed before and after practice. For the sessions in early May and late October will have a no-pushing rule if the water is cold.
