By TheMasterG
Published: February 10, 2004

On the 28th May 2004 at Hatfield Water Park near Doncaster, England a 24 hour canoe polo game will begin to raise much needed funds for three cancer charities.

The aim - to hold a continuous 24-hour canoe polo game and hopefully establish a Guinness World Record for the event. There will be two teams of five players with rolling substitutions so that the game does not stop and the opposition will be constantly changing. Players will volunteer for 30-minute sessions and will be subbed off after that time. Hopefully players will participate in several sessions over the 24 hours.
