So Potter, can you reconfirm the dates for the finals?
And I would like to request the dates of the playoffs that are going to be played in SP to be posted as early as you can, cos we have players who have to travel overseas for business or work shifts.
Thank You.

Hi, this is daren from SP. as regards to ur question, we can only set the games only after the captains meeting for drawing of lots. but wat we can tell u now is the playoffs shld be 1 week or at most earliest 2 weeks before finals. and the finals will be on the 19th & 20th may in clark quay. our schedule will be quite tight as we have just enough time before the finals to finish up everything in sp before we move to clark quay. as for the actual date for captains meeting we'll have to wait for potter to set. thanks so much for ur patience.

Hi,
There seems to be a little mistake in the fixtures for guys team NUS 1. They are playing NTU 1 on 28th april at 14.40 and on 29th april 12.40. I think one of the games should be Redtide 1 instead of NTU 1. So can the officials pls make the needed changes ?
Also fixtures for guys team NUS 2 need a bit of changes. We got exam in morning and afternoon til 3pm. So can the games for the 1st day 28th april be pushed back til 29th april and hopefully the games on 29th april be pushed back to the 3rd day 5th may so that we dont die out from playing 4 games on 29th april.
Thanks
hello to all! SRRR have been post phone for everyone info. i have directly sms all the sch captains last week. and have told them the reasons why we post phone. so any question u all can approach yr captains. and the schedule will be out in a few days time. i will directly sms the captains again. and SRRR now start at 5th of may. it had been pushed back 1 week. but the finals is still on the 19th of may.so all the best to everyone.

Hi potter,
I only found out that the match was postponed when i saw this message today. Our team captain Nor did not received any information or sms about the postponed of the games last week. It is the responsibility of the organiser to make sure that ALL teams are informed.
Pls contact nor @96552337 back.
Pls finalised the schedule and timings of the matches ASAP, as some of us have to schedule our time off from work to play in the games. Thanks

Hi,
FYI, there is an error in the revised schedule for TP2 Mens'.
On Day 1 - 5th May, there is a match scheduled for Mens Group A (NUS2 vs TP2) from 2-2.20.
Firstly, TP2 is from Group D, not Group A as stated.
Secondly, all the TP teams are already scheduled for the correct number of matches. (For our Mens teams: 4 for TP1, 3 for TP2 and TP Alumni; for Ladies: 2 each for TP1 and TP2.) Thus, no team from TP should not be playing that extra match.
Regards,
Gloria

Yup, Potter thanks for correcting. I was about to revert to you about the error.
But I notice that Redtide 2 has limited rest based on the new schedule. May I request that the match of 'TP 1 vs Redtide 2' on Day 6, be shifted to after the break? eg 13:40 would be a good time.
You have already postponed the competition to start on 5, 6 May, hope you can see to this small request. Thanks.

Apologies for the constant change of schedule as some of the refs cant make it for their scheduled slots...Anyway, the highlighted names are the changes made.
To all the scheduled Refs for SRRR 07,
As there is a major shortage of certified refs,(and most of the guy refs are in the army), I've got no choice but to put you guys down to ref for a few matches per day...and girls to ref for most of the guys game...hope you guys will understand. =) But if you feel that there is a need to change the schedule in any way, pls let me know so that i can make the necessary changes asap.

hello all, after the 1st week of competition, i observe somethings tt we can do to help make the competition better.
due to insufficient officials and refs, i hope all officials and refs will stick to their scheduled timing and be on time for their task. not forgetting to thank those refs who have done more than their part as well.
as for linesman, we hope tt the crowd will enthusiastically volunteer when their school is being announced as the linesman of the match, so that the match can start on time and no delays will occur. :)
as for the refs and linesmen, pls do remember tt the start of the 1st ball, players are to be on the pool line and not under the goalframe. As for out-of-play, it will be using the goalframe as the guideline. which means balls after the goalframe will be considered out instead of after the pool line. So refs and linesmen pls take note.
thank you very much and hope to see all of you this coming week for another exciting week of competition.

Hey all,
Attached are some minor changes to the time schedule...as we are playing 10-3-10 (meaning, each half will last for 10 mins instead of 7 mins, and rest time would be 3 mins instead of 1 min), we have to start the matches earlier and some matches may be pushed back a little. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. :o
Schedule for the refs are up as well. Can all captains please remind the respective refs from your school to turn up promptly for their allocated slot.Thanks. :)
To Gloria,
Hey I've checked the scoresheet, the match of Ocube vs TP2 is really 7-0, not 4-0. Thanks for the result tabulation though! :D

Just a quick question...
Let's say if there's a team X that tops the Group F (2nd placing Group) and proceeds to play in Game 65. And team X wins game 65, and moves onto 67. He would have only 30min of rest when starting game 67?!?
Wah... super shiong. Is this really what was being planned?

hello. potter here. yes. it was being planned this way. we talk abt this during our first captain regarding this new system we will be using for SRRR. and we brought out the issue of maybe not having enough resting time. and the captains agreed with it. but still SP had a small discussion between themselves and come with a decision that, we can at most squeeze out abt 15mins more of resting time. so it will be abt 45mins of rest time. rather den 30 mins. cos as u can see, our schedule are quite tight. thats the most we can come out with. hope all of u can understand. ohh. one more thing!
Redtide, regarding abt yr request. i have make changes for it already. ya, i guess by doing that it wont affect anyone. and u all have a allowance of 1 game time to get ready. so thats abt all.
All the best to all the participating teams!

couldnt have been an easy job - we recognise that all the planning, coordinating, and re-scheduling you guys had to deal with must have required much effort, patience and time. x1000 kudos points to you!
i'd also like to take this chance to apologize for any misunderstandings or fouls that may have occurred in the pool during the course of any TP matches, especially those that were taken the wrong way. honestly, none of them were made on purpose, so i hope that any unpleasantness that happened in the pool can stay there and not be brought out of it. our community is so small as it is, let's not allow these sort of things to strain any relationships, aight? (:
meanwhile, lets all train hard and play happily.
take care yall.
