Any recommendations on looking for hotels/guest houses close to the pool for saturday night?

I would tend to look for accommodation in the city centre rather than close to the pool!

for city centre acc, just search on google - there is loads.

Was it Botanic Avenue that's fairly central? Hostels, B&Bs, pubs and grub around there from what I remember...

Botanic is nice - quite lively, and within walking distance of many bars, including QUB SU if it's open - £1.60 a drink on Friday nights :D

Just looking at the timetable and division two teams who miss the semis get a total of 3 games for the weekend.

Seems very little, is there any chance that the lower placed teams could play against each other just to get at least one game on the sunday.

fair point re the lower placed div2 teams

I will add in a playoff game in each pool.

Hi All,

We are going to be able to provide some free food on the sat and sun at lunchtime. :) - This will be chilli / curry etc and some veg. options. - all courtesy of our sponsors - Belfast City Council

Sat night entertainment will be at the "fly" - very close to the university. We will have some free shots and jugs of cocktails for those who get there early. (8 ish)

The "fly" is over 20s, smart casual, blue jeans are ok, no trainers or sportswear. £2 entrance or £3 after 9pm.
