Hi guys,
Geez it's been quiet on the SA forum for a while: anyone out there?!
Got an email with some dates for tournaments in SA so thought I'd post them here:
South African Canoe Polo Championship
17th and 18th March 2007 – Johannesburg
The Africa Cup Championship
7th and 8th July 2007 - Durban
Inter-schools Canoe Polo Tournament
15th September 2007
KZN Interclub Canoe Polo Championship
21st October 2007
Hope all is well, and you're all enjoying the baking hot Feb weather. It's been a fairly mild winter over here (though we did have snow last week!), but I admit I've never craved heat and sunshine quite as much as I do these days.

Well, I have been on holiday in Mexico... some great diving there... and some kite boarding... Not much else to tell you really... last Div3 coming up this weekend... hmmm... oh, and if you can get yourself to the Porterhouse this Friday night, I will get you a beer... how about that? ;)

Does that beer offer go for me too, zg, or only for people in distant lands who you know have no chance of taking you up on your 'kind' offer? Just kidding, but have fun and have one for me anyway.
Good luck for Saturday, and hope you manage to find a ref. I'll be reffing for my team at our third Div 3 on Sat; we still have one more in March as well. You keen for a canal paddle on Sunday latish morning, or will you have had enough of polo for the weekend by then?
As for you Dean, what news of SA polo? All's been very quiet since Worlds. KZN going to be sending some strong teams up to SA champs this year?

Of course I would get you a beer... but does this mean you are not coming? Please come! No excuses!

Sounds like a plan... I will put up a session now...

You know I have the best excuse in the world - it only takes one excuse if it's a good one. But we'll catch up on Sunday - I've booked into the session, and Poppy & Hamish were keen too, so it should be fun. See you then!

to tell you the truth i've only played i think twice since worlds, been busy with varsity and my new job which meant working till 8pm therefore missin practices. But back in a boat on monday, trials coming up for natal team so need to get fit and fast in a hurry.
Ze German, stop offering beer out, you know i would be there in 8seconds flat on the call of free beer. Speaking of which my head is still throbbing from last nights episode.
I have recruited a couple varsity mates to polo, they starting on monday with me, hoping to develop them for club champs, will be fun fun fun.
Cheers guys, keep up the training.
Hey, polo has also now started in durban again, quite recently infact...a few new people, the pool water is so warm too...sorry to tell you that ha ha ha. Looking forward to trials on the 26th tho, gonna be a bit rusty..but will do! Natal has so many strong players i really think it could be a natal A natal B final...like Club champs...or am i talking too soon!

I saw last night in the KZN newletter that Durbs was getting polo going again, that's great news.
Of course I want KZN to win the champs, but I can't help hoping the JHB guys have been doing more training than you lots - false hope? Good luck anyway, and get those lazy asses back in those polobats!
