Hi, can all users of double dutch energy paddle users give feedback on the paddle ? for a keeper user, and pls tell me wat shaft to go with it is the best. thanks so much

Can tell you about the paddles, but for the shaft I would go for a carbon mix, of either Fibreglass or Kevlar. You don't want a shaft that is to rigid as it will end up breaking over time and will also be harder to hold for those "power shots" you will be saving.

i want to find out more about the blade.

1: does it break easily
2: is it suitable for goalkeeping
3: is it strenous to row with as the blade is big

thanks so much !

Get a Brasca maxi.. kinetic shape is better  also a stronger paddle being carbon kevlar and preassure moulded.

I'm pretty sure the DD is pressure molded as well...
And kevlar doesn't necessarily make it stronger.

But I haven't used the Bracsa myself, so I'm not saying one of those is better than the other

i have many brasca kinetic paddle in sch and have seen many blade break. the max paddle is super heavy ! i like double cos it has big blade and light. i guess speed wise, dd kinetic will still be faster than dd energy ?

No way known... the Energy pulls like twice the amount of water the kinetic does because it is a bigger blade. The enrgy shape is also taken from slalom style paddles and has a much flatter paddleing style than the kinetic.
Imo i like a more vertical paddleing style, and i wasn't getting enough power out of the standard DD kinetic so I moved up to a Brasca maxi, which pulls alot more water and makes me go alot faster. Also, I've never ever seen a brasca shaft or blade brake, where i've seen every other paddle brake, blade and shaft.

so in the outcome down energy blade requires alot of strength and energy to pull ? does the blade break easily ? cos im a goal keeper and tt is my main worry.

also have anyone tried dd kinetic with brasca shaft ? any feedback or comments ? thanks

Yes the ernergy requires more strength to use but if you use it it will make you stronger in the long run. It is a perfectly good blade for goal keeping and doesn't require any extra support in the way of patching the back to brace it. It would be a good idea to ask for a Kevlar edge to prolonge it's life.
I acctually just sold a DD kinetic with a Brasca shaft and it was the best shaft I've so far used. It is my Currant shaft and on the old Kinetic it outlasted any other shaft i've used by a long shot. WOnly worry with that was that the spigget would snap instead of the shaft because it was that strong. But it never happened.
