Hi,
just wished to put a small post, regarding a tournament taking place in Sardinia at the very begininning of December.
This is the first tournament organised by the Società Canottieri Ichnusa held at the Diverland waterpark (www.diverland.it), nearby Cagliari, Sardinia (Italy). The event will take place at the open swimming pool of the facility, 35 x 21 mts; pre competition warming up can be anyway performed in the area nearby the pool.
Accomodation for 20 euros per day, including breakfast at the same waterpark; for those who wished to postpone their departure once the tournament is finished, there’s also a 250 mts long water track with artificial waves.
For international arrivals, the ideal airport would be Cagliari’s, in the south of the island. HLX is probably the most suitable aircompany, in such case. The Hapag Lloyd flies from Stuttgart, Munchen and Koln straightly to Cagliari. However, a shuttle transport to pick athlets up from Alghero airport (in which Ryanair operates) can easily be arranged. For free, of course.
