Euro Cup 2007 - Denmark

Hi,
For the second time, Odense Kayakclub in Denmark will host "Euro Cup" - an international canoepolo tournament. The tournament is 6.-7. of January 2007. We play indoor in a nice 25 x 50m pool, so it is a full sized pitch.
Take a look at the invitation.

Hope to see some foreign teams.

Ciao, I'd like to know if it's possible arrive some days before and stay in the accomodations you've organized. If so could be nice try to organize e little holiday
What is the nearest airport and/or the best way to arrive to Odense C?

Closest airport is Billund - about 100 km from Odense. There are airport busses (you have to pay for the bus).
There are more flights to/from Copenhagen, so it might be easyer. It is 170 km from Odense C (no airport busses, but train from airport to Odense C).
You can not stay at the school before the tournament, children use the school during the daytime.
But if you are interested, we can arrange youth hostel or maby staying in the clubhouse - 8 km from city.

Hi,
You can also fly to the airport in Esbjerg. I think about 100 km from Odense.
If some teams need transportation of kayaks from airport - contact me. Maby we can arrange something for a small fee.

We got a lot of entries to Euro Cup 2007. Good to see, that so many teams from different nations want to play our second international indoor tournament in Denmark :thumbup:

Just like to say thank you to you, Anne-Mette and your club for hosting the euro cup! I enjoyed it alot and hopefully we will come back next year!

Just like to add my voice to Sam's saying thank you to Anne-Mette and her team for a really excellent tournament :thumbup: The combination of a lovely, warm indoor venue in the middle of winter, a full-size pitch, full-length games, a high standard of competition, superb organisation, games that ran to time or early, and a friendly atmosphere were just great.

I'd also like to say thanks to team Holte for getting us from Copenhagen airport to Odense and back safely - it was great getting to know you guys, and hopefully we'll see you at the London International!!!
