Canoe polo Sydney

Hi,
Myself and a mate of mine have just arrived in Sydney and will be staying here for at least six months. We were wondering if there is any chance of joining a canoe polo team during our time here.

We have been playing canoe polo for the past year in Ireland as part of Wild Water Kayak Club.

Hey Ian. Forget Sydney and travel north to Newcastle. We have happy people who have a great time and would love to have more paddlers. Our beaches are better, although we sorely need some good-looking blokes.

Best place in Aus for polo is Adelaide or Melbourne. You will find people in Sydney to play and train with from time to time, tho not as many as in the other cities.
What is your visit for? Just trourism? or study? anything tying you to one place for any extended period of time?

Obviously some people have issues with where they live. But you have made a wise decision in where to stay for a well rounded trip. i'm sure you'll find the polo and the players more then inviting.
