quick question? why the rush to get members to apply for National league now? National league entries are due in end of January. Team lists and moneys are not due in until March '03.....perhaps you hould try not to exclude people just yet.

On a positive point......great to see that you are so well organised.

For those of you who would like to get your New Zealand Canoe Polo new****ter as soon as it comes off the press, join the official New Zealand Canoe Polo New****ter mailing list
Send an email to:

Maree Burnett - Executive Director (maree.nick@paradise.net.nz) :worship:

I highly recomend the northern mailing list (I'm on it and its great), but for those of you who belong to regions who don't currently have a systematic mailing list, getting in touch with Maree and getting yourself added to her new****ter list, is a great way of staying in touch.

cheers

I understand that PCC had provisionally entered three teams through personal contacts between one of our committee members and the NZCPA Competitions Director. This occurred in November. Although the deadline for team entries is for January 2003, our current membership list (supplied to me by the Exec Direc of the NZCPA) does not support the provisional entry of three teams. It is my hope that the application forms will prove the estimation of three teams to be valid.

We have instigated an application process that we will be reviewing next Tuesday at our committee meeting. This process is to ensure that PCC makes decisions regarding the National League, based on the requirements of it's players. To date, the application forms that we receive will be the most detailed information of our membership, potential membership and competitive player base.

As we are a new committee, we have received criticism for not having adequate affiliated member numbers in Auckland. Our primary concern was to ensure that this situation was remedied. We will continue to ensure that players do not miss the opportunity to play in National League.

On a personal note- maybe we're in a rush to beat your a**e!!!! (Censored manually by me- if I'd known earlier that the word "new****ter" was so naughty, I could have used it more often...).
