Hey all!

Recently a new University Canoe Polo club has been formed up in North Wales, and we hope to have all of our equipment ready for us to use in September!

We are looking to find any competitions that we would be eligable to enter next year and also looking for any clubs in the (relative!) area who would be interested in getting together for friendly matches, to gain some experience? We are hoping to be able to either host or visit other clubs.

Any suggestions?

Many Thanks,

Ze German

Hey Chris,

I am sure you have thought about busa already? http://www-lsu.lboro.ac.uk/clubsocs/canoe/busapolo.htm

Warwick Uni CP and Cardiff Uni CP are likely to host competitions shortly before BUSA...

Further, you might want to consider entering a team for the local or national leagues depending on your standard. You will have missed most of the deadlines but it might be worth contacting them anyway in case there are any openings.

Hope this helps. Cheers,

zG

Hi Chris

You could also enter the BCU Club Champs in the investment league as this would be experiance for you, may well encourage a few more uni teams to have a go:wavey:

Cheers,
