Moldovian Canoe Polo (????)

Guys,
Has anyone heard of canoe polo being played in Moldovia???? I had not either until last week when I had been contacted by a team from that country and do not have the foggiest notion of the quality of the teams, how many are there, if they hold regular Championships or even if they have a National Team.

Please lighten me up.

Even though there has been a ton of lurkers visiting this site, no coherent information has come out about Moldovian canoe polo. So paraphrasing Richard III's quote 'My kingdom for a horse', I'm gonna up the ante.....

For the first person who can post on this forum sufficient and coherent information on this subject, within midnight of the 20th of June, I will send as quid pro quo, one of our Commemorative tournament tee-shirts (2006) to anywhere in the world as a way of saying 'thank you'. :thumbup:

hello, i am a moldovan. the country's name is moldova, although it has been known in the past as moldavia. it is located in eastern europe, between romania and ukraine, near the black sea. chisinau (with the accents) is pronounced ki-shi-ne-ooh with the stress on the "ne", also known by its russian name kishinev.

i dunno anything about our canoe polo teams but could look it up in google. thanks for offering a free t-shirt but keep it for someone who knows about the team.
