What would it take for a USCPC Kit?

Could the US national org put together a kit for us locals to buy? As I've looked for gear, it seems to me that, although it is available in limited quantities in the US, it's all imported. Why can't we make our own gear? Certainly we can make a mold for a decent polo boat. There are many blade manufacturers here that with the right quantities would make a blade. Couldn’t we make a mask that would fit, say a Lidds Slugger, and get them to send us those helmets in quantity for cheap? If someone in the here in the US started a business it might be rough to make ends meet, with the limited number of players, and the need to make a margin for overhead. Quantity can make for cheaper prices, so why not have the nonprofit governing org do it? Heck, maybe we could design a better boat that the Euros would be buying from us!

If USCPC won’t tackle this one then anyone with interest get in touch. Especially if you are a resin head!

This is a great idea. Sadly, I don't think that USCPC will get it off the ground.

The USCPC has got a lot going on right now given that they've really only just become seriously active again after a lull of a couple of years. And given that we're a group of volunteers spread all over the country, it's really going to take a serious resin head with time on their hands to take it on.
