Karamu High School (most succesful college at secondary school nats) is looking to get rid of 6, well loved, Powerplays.
We are looking to sell 6 Kevlar "Powerplays"
Price for set of 6= $3000
Price for individual kayaks= $600
The boats have a few repairs, but are sound (still float):D
These boats will be great for new players to the sport looking to get some cheap equipment to start with, or for schools/clubs looking at investing in some kayaks which are faster and more competitive than than the traditional acrobats/cyclones
Hopefully everyone is training hard, and looking forward to some good games at nats. See you soon:)

Hi,
I was just wondering if the kayaks are still for sale?
I'ce just started up canoe polo at my school and having a fledet of boats would be fantastic.
I am pretty sure that the boats are still for sale you can get hold of Kevin Beaumont at Karamu High and have a talk ph 068787139. HB will be freighting boats down to Christchurch in May for Nat league games in May you might be able to use the same freight company.

I'm unsure which boats you are talking about, but there were none at secondary school nationals this year. If you've been playing polo for a few years at secondary school level, you may remember the green boats that Karamu High School originally had. I will try to get a photo of one early next week.

I paddled a power play for years - great boat for school type players as they're easy to roll, easy to turn + yet relatively fast compared to the old school sting rays etc. A user-friendly boat all round, in my opinion!

anything has to be better than a stingray/mantaray...
There is nothing wrong with a stingray. For lighter players, I think they are a very under-rated boat

the width of the stingray and mantaray make it a good boat in defence as well
th powerplays have a lot more speed on them tho

And the powerplays are nice and easy to crack, I think I may remember cracking one of those karamu ones in my time. Not on purpose of course!
