Christchurch canoe polo?

Hi all,

I will be studying in Uni of Canterbury for a period of 6 months, starting from 14 Feb to early July. Currently, I am an intermediate level canoe polo in my area.
Is there anyone/team that is willing to let me train and learn from them. The prospect of improving myself in New Zealand, one of the world's best in canoe polo, excites me greatly.

However, it is my first time there, so I may not know where to pursue this interest. Also, I do not have any equipment, except the passion for the sport.
Anyone willing to take me up?

the cantebury university has a canoe club with a wewb site and some contact details im not sure what it is but have a hunt for that it might give you a few names and contact numbers

My name is Sam I’m the UCCC captain.

We usually have a couple of teams in the Christchurch B grade winter comp and may look at putting together a team for the A grade this year. We also have uni games coming up aprilish which we're hoping to put at least two teams together for.
