A few more light bulbs in the Luton swimming pool might be nice (I hate using flash guns) but here are the first set of of pictures from the Youth Division 2 matches. There will be some more next week.

Thanks Harry. No, I'm afraid not. We may cover the Youth Division 1 match at Luton on the 4th March but that's uncomfirmed at the moment.

Glen, a little of topic....what flash are you using? I take it you're either on pool side or up in that little gallery but there's a lot of space for the light to get lost!

I was using a Canon Speedlite 580EX flash gun – Canon’s most powerful unit. It has a guide number of 58 (metres at ISO 100). With the slowest lens I was using (a 300mm f/2.8) that gave me an effective flash range of 41 metres at ISO 400. That was enough to carry the length of the pool quite comfortably. With the faster lenses, there was plenty in hand.
