Hi there all!


Just a quick note to keep you updated about

BUSA Canoe Polo 2006!

Hopefully if youv'e been involved in the event before, youre recieved an email from me today telling you this info. If not, please send me a contact email address (if possible not hotmail or yahoo, they dislike group mailings) and what uni you are from to busapolo@yahoo.co.uk.


At present the organisation is proving to be a bit of a handful, so please watch this space.

Due to an unforeseen hitch, the venue and dates are still subject to confirmation, but rest assured, I'm doing my best to have them sorted ASAP.

I'm aiming to have the event on May 6th and 7th at Hatfield. However this is not definate yet so please bear this in mind.


Entry forms will be published on Loughborough Student's Canoe Club website (http://www.lborosu.org.uk/clubsocs/canoe/index.htm (http://www.lborosu.org.uk/clubsocs/canoe/index.htm)) as soon as I can get the details of the venue confirmed. I would hope for this to be sometime towards Christmas.

The closing date for entries will be 17th March 2006
Team specific entry Info will be published on the 29th March.

Hi Everyone

The details for BUSA are now confirmed, so I am pleased (and very relieved) to be able to tell you the following:

BUSA Canoe Polo 2006 will be on May 6th and 7th at Hatfield Waster Park in Doncaster!!

Entry forms will be published LSCC website on the 5th December 2005 .

The closing date for entries will be 17th March 2006. (NB, late entries will NOT be accepted under any circumstances!)

Entry Info will be published on the 29th March 2006.


Due to developments at Hatfield site, the camping space is less than ever. Unfortunately, this means that we will have to restrict the entries to the Open (old gits) and Reed Chill Cheater (B team) leagues. Universities will only be able to enter one team in each event, and limited spaces are available. Therefore, places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, as soon as payment is received. Entering a BUSA team will not guarantee you a place in the open/B team events. The exact number of spaces in each event is still being resolved, so I will get back to you on this.

This year we will also be trialling an online entry form, but entries will not be treated as confirmed until correct payment has arrived(by post).

Hi All



Just a quick note to let you know that unfortunately the entry details for BUSA polo 2006 will not be available on Monday the 5th December.



I have just been informed that BUSA currently clashes with Charleroi, so I am looking in to the feasibility of changing the date.



Sorry about this, as ever I will keep you posted when the issue is resolved.
