Invitation Russian Championships 2006

Hi eveyone,

It's actually Rob writing this, I'm in Russia at the moment, and the computer doesn't want to log-off Nastinka as a user... :s

Anyway, what I wanted to say is that once agian the Open All Russian Canoe Polo Championships will be held this year for the 3rd time! The date for the championship is 18th December. It is only 1 day of canoeing.:russia:

Last year Dutch team went, with Paul, Andreas, Thijs and myself from Groningen, and JD from Deventer. It was really great fun, we saw the sights and had fun with the poloers here. We stayed for 7 days, leaving the day after the tournament.

The Russians are very eager to have another foreign team this year, and I told them that I'd see what I could do. If your team, or even you as an individual are interested, let me know!!! We must decide within the next 2 weeks though, because of visas, flights etc.

The cost will be about 500-600 euro, depending on what you plan to spend in Russia. Flight (from Dusseldorf www.gexx.de (http://www.gexx.de/)) is 250, visa 80, registration 25, = 355, plus 10 per night accommodation which I can see if we can get for free.

Hi guys,

Back home in Holland now.
You can fly to Sheremetevo airport. (SVO if you want to book online)
Or Domodedovo (DME). I think that those are the main international airports in Moscow.

i can't see the point in going all that way just to have one day canoeing, no thanks. If it was 2-3 days then count me in but one day for a championships just isn't enough

Well, it's not really only for the champs that you would go, if you would go.
there would be other things to do that you might not do otherwise in your daily life... But I do see your point. It's a choice that everyone has to make for yourself.:rolleyes:

Hi guys!
I can arrange one`s more bonus mini tourtiment, in thusday (20 of Dec) 4 vs 4 or the battle or mix fun games against strongest Moskow team (strongest russian at the moment) during 1 and half hours. :wavey:
We do what we can but 2 days rent of pool just impossible because it busy.
Anyway I can say, that some unofficial program can be as interesting as the official part.
So we`ll be glad to see anyone !!! :thumbup:

Ya sprawil Alex dlya preglashenie. I asked Alex for the Invitation. According to Tony we will need to have original invitations, but I am sure that you can fax them... Do you know anything more about this Gin?

No, I`m not, and Alex didn`t sad me anything about it. He left Russia for a week, and I don`t know, where is clubs stamp. But I`ll try to do invitation as soon as possible and send by both ways, fax and post.
