The inaugurate British Universities Canoe Polo tournament took place on Sunday last 23rd October at the Friends of Allonby Canoe Polo facility in Queens Dock, Liverpool. Seven Universities Birmingham,Cardiff,Durham,Lancaster,Liverpool,Nott ingham Trent, and Sheffield Hallam have all entered with twelve teams competing on the day. For further interested teams Tournament 2 is due to take place on Sunday 13th November. As luck would have it we were blessed with some kind weather. Overnight accomodation can be found for the 'travelling' teams (albeit a Scout Hut)if it helps.
