Hi Guys,
I would like to know if there is anybody from your country who could let me know if there was any canoe polo activity there before 1992?
As you might have noticed on this website, I have been asking also various other countrymen the same question as I am very interested in documenting the early stages of this sport, which apparently has not been in the minds of anybody to keep a database and to let the world at large know of these origins everywhere.
Much obliged and thanks!

Henrik?

Sorry Deacon for writing in Norwegian.

I tried polo in 1990 for the first time (or 91?). A flatwater padler from the norwegian team tested polo in some other contry and tried to start up in Norway. It didn't work. So in 2002 Franco Fetci started it up again.

Yes Stian I think you are about right. So we can actually say that we have a "continous" history back to then, since we both tried playing a little then. I remember there was two flatwater cups that also included some canoepolo, and we also played two matches to show the general public, ( One in Oslo, Aker Brygge and one in Sandvikselva. ) The one in Sandvikselva was actually filmed by TV and was a small spot that night.
