Guys,
As I am now in the process of updating and (eventually) printing a new colour edition of my book 'The Origins of Canoe Polo', I would appreciate it if I could get some information from any of those Dutch canoe polo players who had been active in the period of time 1980-1992 and maybe are still active or have access to information on that period of time.
I would like to know the names of some of the Dutch clubs which were most dominant in that period and the names of top atletes who in your opinion excelled and should be mentioned (at least for recorded posterity)
Any information on this subject will be highly appreciated. You can PM directly on this site if you can help me out.
Thanks!

I have to look up some addresses at home but I guess Alphons Barnhoorn could help you out here. I might have some old editions of the magazine of the Dutch Canoe/Kayak Association (NKB) with information as well.

Will let you know later.

:wavey:

BTW: I'd be very interested in a copy of your book. Please let me know where I can buy one.

It's not that hard: It's the same as these days: DKV now rules for many years, in that time Rijnland was the very best. With competition from RCC (Rotterdam), KAPOW and Zwetplassers were alive.

I myself started when the new rules were official. I just learned how to hit the old small volleyball and then we suddenly had to throw the big yellow monster. At that time I didn't do any paperwork, so it's all mental memory:cool: .
