European Champs - Results - Day 1

Hello friends !!


I've been doing some "homework" during this night and,
despite I don't speak Dutch and other "north European languages",
reading some posts on canoepolo.com and asking some friends from
the Portuguese team to send me sms messages, I could compile a
large number of results from that first day of competition...

At the moment there are 15 results missing (+/- 30% of the played
games) BUT, if all of us can have some sort of information from our
friends that are in Madrid, I think that we can complete this document
in few minutes... I think that it might be better then blaming the
organizers regarding the (non working) website...

Let's work on that!!

Anyway, for the rest of the competition, the "top 8" SM groups will be:

Despite the fact that i'm still a bit disappointed in the organisation, this is great news (and not only because the dutch team did win).

that send me a lot of results by sms, here are the FULL results of
the first day of competition (well... one game missing :( ) ...

It great to see folks from everywhere working together to make this happen.
[I guess the Spanish hosts are pretty embarassed about their website].

I wish I had news to add, but so far I haven't heard anything direct.

If the information which has been compiled in a zip file could be unpacked and posted in full that would be really useful, because at work as part of our security I'm not allowed to open unknown zip files and this is pretty widespread practice so I guess a lot of others are similarly restricted.
