Hi, and welcome to the site. Glad to hear you are getting involved in the scottish polo scene.

There will be around 9-13 teams at the weekend including a mix of div 1 and div 2 Scottish teams and a sprinkling of junior and ladies teams along with a couple of veteran teams.

Confirmed teams include (i think)

Selkirk
Woodmill
Linlithgow
Kirkcaldy
West Lothian Z
Stirling
Stirling Youth
etc etc (not too sure who is coming to be honest)

The intention is that everyone will play each other once, and then 'cross overs' will take place to determine final placings. Each team will play a decent amount of games over the weekend - and hopefully the sun will shine!

See you at the weekend and good luck. I believe the youths will play in open class, but you will have some youth competition too.

Cheers

Ian

Only 9 teams in open, plus school and vets teams, was still a great weekend. We learned alot tho was worth while for that alone.

It was great fun to watch and ref the kids games, they were all realy enjoying the polo!

Looking forward to a bigger and better comp next year!

(oh and more div 2 teams there would be nice!)

Glad you enjoyed the tourny - thanks to George and Ali for organisation - and we will take on the comment about encouraging more div 2 teams for next year:wavey:
