Darryl O'Brien has advised
" "international event" is now a confirmed booking at Kinsman from
Feb 21 (evening practice?), 22 and 23. What we are also considering is arranging
for a ski-bus tour that would leave early on Mon. Feb 24th (full day of skiing)
followed by full days on 25, 26, 27 (Thursday), returning to Edmonton after skiing
that day. We would try to set this up as an all inclusive event to include
accommodation, lift tickets and travel. Meals would be extra (with the possible
exception of breakfast built into the accommodation)."
No doubt further informaiton will be coming but mark that date on your calanders.

Us English & Welsh want to see who can do the bigest crash on snowboards. Me and Clyde have been snowboarding for years and all the rest need is .... to try snowboarding !!! I think the copetition will be who can throw up the earliest in the morning or who can do the bigest wipe out on the slopes. And if you guys are really lucky we can play spoons....... :silly:

Don't believe that for an instant!! The Alberta deep freeze began at the end of February this year. I won't forget what -35oC feels like in a hurry!
Why not come out to Beautiful BC for the Canadian Nationals in June. You can ski the glaciers at Whistler until the end of July!

For Bob that question will have to be answered by Mareese or Tritan who are organizing the event.
For Ben, BC folks looked at the Aug date to conicide with the whitewater festival but due to orginizational issues and their preference they proposed the June 28,29,2003 dates.
