Just curious which countries are considered part of Oceania in the polo world.

I've been told that the ICF uses the IOC distinction of continents, thus North & South America are considered a single continent.

I've seen the IOC's list of countries for Oceania and wondered if this is the same for the ICF.

IOC's list is:
ASA - American Samoa
AUS - Australia
COK - Cook Islands
FSM - Federated States of Micronesia
FIJ - Fiji
GUM - Guam
KIR - Kiribati
NRU - Nauru
NZL - New Zealand
PLW - Palau
PNG - Papua New Guinea
SAM - Samoa (until 1996 Western Samoa)
SOL - Solomon Islands
TGA - Tonga
VAN - Vanuatu

Thanks,

James

Yeah that is about right. In terms of Oceania Canoe polo champs: Japan are coming over as a guest.

Also Singapore may be looking at sending a team.

Thanks

James
