In response to your email and request for feedback on the Summer Series i wanted to say a few words to start with firstly, thanks for asking for feedback from the atheletes about the comp, it is great to be able to provide some constructive advice to the committee. Secondly I have listed below some feedback and i hope it is useful to the committee in organising next years events.

Areas of improvement:
1. Point scoring - this really needs to be looked at. You can win the comp but still be on lower points than someone who came second. This occured at one comp as the teams were mixed in with another category.
2. More definition needed around who can play, when they can play etc. Example: if you register 10 names over the season but someone wants to play in another team because there are too many people at one competition then we need to ensure those rules are well stipulated; yes they can play in another team as long as they are not in the summer series etc etc.
3. Finals - this was a bit of a mess and yes i think this needs to be modified. Is it really beneficial having the finals at the State competition or should we finish the summer series at the competition prior to States.
4. Does the summer series deter other teams from entering or finding enough numbers to make more teams within competition district.

Positives:
There are alot of positives to be taken away with from the series so i have listed a few below as there is no point focusing on the negatives when there a plenty of areas that worked really well.
1. Congrats to the organising committee - you guys worked really hard to make this happen.
2. The way the teams worked together and became club teams was excellent, the team uniform and names really looked good.
3. The series helped to ensure a good number of teams attended many of the comps and also helped to ensure high quality matches between the teams.

I have no idea if this feedback is useful and you may have answers to all these questions but i hope it helps. However i think a possible focus point for next year is 'DEVELOPMENT', we are drastically running out of players in every single state and we should look at ways to address this. Thanks again :)
