Canoe Polo Competition in Singapore!

Hi all,

The Singapore Canoe Federation is holding the 7th Pesta Sukan National Canoe Polo Championship in the month of August . For the first time, we are including a international category in the Championship on the 19th – 21st August. We cordially invite all National / Clubs / Institution Teams from all countries to participate in this tournament. The venue for the tournament is at Singapore Physical Education Swimming Pool,



Our theme this year is ‘’passion ignited’’ and we hope that through this tournament, canoe polo enthusiastic from different parts of the world can come together as one community and enjoy the sport that we are all passionate about. This is also a great time for us to pit our skills against each other and in the process, share, learn and bring up the level of our games.



There will be the men’s and ladies category for this tournament. Arrangements will be made to maximize the number of games played by each team. Apart from that, there will be joint training sessions and friendly games on the 19th August. Please refer to the attached for more competition details. Was in Singapore for a few days in March this year and no idea that Polo was played there!

Anyone thinking about this, do it! It is a fantastic city, beautiful, clean, safe, very friendly and polo to boot!

Will be talking to my team to try and do something for next year. This year it's Italy, etc.

How many international teams are you going to accept? And which category will there be in the tournament?
Will there be U21?

There are no quota for international teams. The more the merrier! There will be men and ladies category. There will not be U21 though. But we welcome U21 teams to play in the open categories.
