Unfortunatly there are two motors of making the commetee. Me and Alex.
I have no time to it now (daughter takes a lot of time ;), and the problem is it. But it`s not so important now in fact. If we will show the level in international tourtiments - it`s will do in a second.
In fact exists only a team which is national team in fact and strongest club. If club is of international level (in 20th countries at least) - no barriers will be. And we`ll do it. But now, what reason to harry and drop all off things, which really urgent?
Sorry, but looks, like organization of commetee depens first of all from me. I don`t see interests of palyers is national team tourtiments. I`don`t think, that Ill and Alex will traning hard to show good results in ES qualifiacation for example. I do want to take a part in any of ES of WS but in a part of team which will tarining hard and fight after the training.
Nobody want to secrify whiterwater to canoepolo. That`s the problem. And the problem will be solved only if they we belivie, that we CAN do it. So they have to be in prizse in international tortiments. So waitng ....
Yea, we`ll be at Latviya in the end of August at Helsinky. Wish a luck to us and don`t sorry about delay in russia commetee making. All wee be in time. You help to start huge mashine. It`s not hurry so much, but moving constatly.

I cann't imagine team Russia list of members. There is 2 sport clubs(3s&WW) training the polo, and many other clubs who takes a part in every Russian tournament. But I havn't seen a 3s progresing in last year at all. There are no proffesional players and we wouldn't see Russian teams in prizes on strong european tournaments.
And I don't think, that polo-committee will help us to play better or get some money for our sport. NOBODY 'LL GIVE IT! Only for kids! (IMHO)
It's greate that there are such people as Shishkov, Senner, Chubarov in Russia. But they could only show the polo as a sport to our sport-goverment. And it's realy needs!!! Only polo-specified school can release realy strong players. And You can create it!
But curent generetion of polo players will neve show GREATE result.
IMHO
I always say, that only way to born canoepolo as a sport in Russia in child canoepolo school. But I don`t see, a man, who organize the shool either with cometee or not.
About grownig. I don`t agree with Mityai, I think, that we are grownig, you can see it. We win constatntly with mininum saving our strenth. We old enouth, that`s why.
About list of members. It`s 3s theam. Nobody else traning regulary.

Hello guys,
I also don't agree with Mityai about growing... the last 1-2 years i am observing you and I can definatly say there is a progress!! And don't compare yourself with those big guys from Europe who are on the other level than Russian team(s). Only because they are training for long time..
"There are no proffesional players and we wouldn't see Russian teams in prizes on strong european tournaments." ... I am sure you would see yourself on "strong" tournaments with prizes but on the tournaments of your level. I think if you go again to Groningen (just for example), then you will show yourself much better!
And Mityai, why wouldn't you become a "professional player"?! you can be strong and you are young..
By the way, I have a question about school for kids.. is that possible to train 1-2 teams of teens in 3S just for beginning? I guess, it is even possible to get some money from it cos parents pay for tennis courses, for swimming... then why wouldn't they pay for canoe polo? you have all facilities for it. Or am I wrong? I just saw kids ( appr. 12-16years old) in kayaks in Groningen.. it looked funny but they are starting to be strong already..
Greets to all :wavey:

hi guys,
all what you are saying is true, and I do understand what you mean.
What you need is a group of people who all make an agreement with eachother. An agreement for commitment for not just one season, but 4-5-6 seasons. This links to what you said about needing to beleive in yourself! I beleive in you. Maybe this is why I seem pushy sometimes. I think that I beleive in you more than you beleive in yourselves!!! When I was there with you guys, I beleived in Russian canoe polo, and I beleived in creating committee in Russian canoe federation. I beleived in tournament (shishkov created it well, and I want to try to stimulate it (if he agrees) to become a bigger international).
The thing is, I STILL beleive in it!!! Russia has so much potential!! in Moscow alone, there are just as many people living as in the whole of tiny Holland!!! you just need a group (MITAY!!! for example, right age!!!) who says YES! WE WILL DO IT! I am now talking about training and developing teams. The rest, as Gen says, will come... but it needs a reason TO become. if there is a group of atheletes, large or small, who need the committee, then it will be created!
That's my honest opinion.
Robski.

Hi
it might be inspiring for you
we started Czech Canoepolo Asociation ourselv, as any other asociation in Czech republic, you just need 3 people, some rules how the asociation will work and some regular meetings
as we do not have enough players to form a separate comitee(we would need 200 members, regular competition of at least four clubs and play at least for 3 years) in Czech canoe federation(we have white water, flat water and touring comitee) we are officialy under touring comitee(it would be actually better to be under white water comitee as lot of our members is part of white water clubs) and we pay some yearly fees(different than we pay to our asociation) that are very low
then when we go for euro champ we give them list of players and get official nomination from canoe federation
most of our expenses we pay ourselvs and even we know that we can not reach the top positions, it is very valuable experience to play with stronger european teams plus we can show that there is canoepolo on Czech republic and maybe bring some strong teams to our tournaments and therefore make canoepolo more popular in czech republic
Lanoch
so maybe you can come to madrid even if you do not have any comitee

Hi Lanoch,
Good point. A lot of it is about getting the experiences, both of playing against other teams, seeing how other teams play, learning how the procedures work, and letting people know that you are out there.
Rob.
