We are very pleased to invite you to our Interuniversity Canoe Polo Tournament. As we started this tradition last year we will continue to organize this meeting in the middle of Ghent's historical center (Belgium). This year you will be able to contest with other third level teams on 5 and 6 October 2001.
The tournament starts on Friday morning at 9 o'clock with the preliminary meeting. You are welcome from Thursday afternoon. Men, women and mixed teams are allowed to play, but all players should meet FISU requirements. Every team should have at least two qualified referees.
On Friday games will be played at 2 outdoor pitches at the Blaarmeersen. On Saturday the finals will be played in the middle of Ghent's historical center.
There is no fee to enter the competition. The tournament is approved by the BUSF (Belgian third level institution sporting federation) and we applied for FISU approval. All games are played under ICF rules, teams are requested to respect the closing date of September 1 st 2001.
