Was wondering what standards everyone's clubs requires for groups of paddlers in training sessions, both within a pool and open water environment.
Are there separate sessions for different level paddlers?
Who actually runs the sessions e.g. do the senior paddlers help out or is there a separate person/coach?
Who has overall control from a cover point of view?
Cheers A

I would get advice from the BCU.
Better paddlers who can evidence alevel of proficiancy/compitence may not need a coach for a session. I the pool they will need a ref for games sesions or coach off the water (see BCU swimming pool safety document).
Outside get advice from BCU coaching, if you can.
If players are beginners or less compitent then a coach will need to take overall responsibility, different for different enviroments. Making charges for sessions may put you within scope of AALA, adventerous activities liecencing aurthority.(they have a website).
If senior paddlers are helping out inside they need a coaching or ref's qual. Outside depends where it is.
