Hi!
I'm Evelyn and I'm currently studying here in Sydney. I was playing canoepolo for half a year in Singapore before coming over here. Really love the sport, so I'm just wondering if you actually have canoepolo clubs around here for me to join and play?
Also, may i please ask where will the Australian Championships be held as I heard it will be held in Sydney.
Thanks a lot and I really hope to hear from any of you soon. ;)

Looking forward to your reply,
Evelyn

Hi Evelyn & Naseer,
Yep, Canoe Polo is played in Sydney. Sydney competition details can be found at http://www.scp.canoe.org.au We are in the middle of a season at the moment but i am sure if you email or call someone at Sydney Canoe Polo we can find you a team.

The Championships will be held in Sydney (at a place called Penrith), dates of the competition are 25th to the 27th March 2005.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

I've been asked to go to the Auburn pool too. May I ask, how exactly do I go there by public transport if I stay at Kingsford?
Also, is Auburn pool the only place where I can go to? Is there no other place where I can go which is much nearer to Kingsford? I have no travel concession and Auburn is really quite a distance from my place.
Really sorry for this bombardment of questions and I sincerely hope to receive your replies soon. Thanks.

Cheers!
Evelyn

:wavey: Hi Evelyn,

In sydney we have one comp and thats at Auburn.

To get there from kingsford, catch a bus to the city, Jump off at central railway station, catch a train to Auburn and its a 5 minute walk to the pool, we will supply, boat, pfd, helmet & paddle so you only need to bring yourself and a cut lunch, no its only 25mins on the train, and a 5min walk.

We do not have any of players near you however ask at the pool when you arrive, someone may be able to assist with transport.

 Please advise if you are coming as I will make you fell at home and settle you in.

What grade do you play as we cater to all groups.A,B.& C HOWEVER THEY ARE ON DIFFERENT NIGHTS
