hey from canada. i am looking to head to Australia some time in may to june. i will be all over the place, from Australia, to new zealand, and a bit of lower asia, i am wondering if any comps will be going on while i am there. also if any one can tell me wher they think i should go or spend some time.

Comps - i am not really sure what comps will be played around May - June as it is getting pretty cold then (well Aussie cold anyway!!!!) and most of our comps are in Spring & Summer. Just keep looking at our website the Sydney website as it kept up to date pretty often http://www.scp.canoe.org.au (http://www.scp.canoe.org.au/)

Places to visit- such choice!!!! I have listed a few places below in Australia that may be worth a visit (per Sate)
NSW - Sydney (of course), climb the harbour bridge, go to the Opera House, Blue Mountains, harbour cruise, surf at Manly, shop at the Rocks and have a beer at Bondi;
QLD - You must go to the Barrier Reef....... no excuses there & maybe a visit to Steve Urwins Australia zoo!!!!!!
VIC - Great Ocean road, Philip Island (if you like Motor Bikes and penguins), watch a game of Aussie Football in Melbourne plus plenty of cafes ;
SA - lots of Vineyards and food (not much else :p hehehehe)
NT - Kakudu National Park, Uluru (Ayres rock), visit a working station (most land holds in the NT are over 1 million acres (very impressive);
TAS - Cradle Mountain bushwalk, paddle the mighty Franklin river, visit many a brewery & chocolate factory at Launceston or paddle with pengiuns around Hobart.
NZ - Not sure (have only ever been to Queenstown and then it was only Snowboarding). I would recommend this place but i reckon the snow you get in Canada might not compare!!!
