Newbridge Slalom 2005

Hey all,
This is just an announcement to let everybody know that the Newbridge Slalom 2005 will take place on the 5th of March.This will be the first slalom held in Newbridge in many years.It is being run by Newbridge Kayak Club.Entries at 1130am in the Patrician Secondary School carpark.The carpark is located on the right as you come into the town.Dont worry, there will be signs.
Start time hopefully will be 1230.Entries are 8 euro for Senior and 5 euro for Junior.There are three divisions.Division 3 is the recreational division.This race is open to everyone!Even if you have never done any slalom before!

Well i posted it on the slalom board aswell.The race is open to all paddlers,even polo ones believe it or not!.It is just to let as many people know about the race as possible.Its an easy course so it would be ideal for anybody interested in getting into slalom. :)

I think the suggestion that the advert be confined at least to the "Ireland" or "off the water" boards is fair enough given that it is doubtful our Taiwanese, Australian or Brazilian readers will be particularly interested in your event - fine though it may be.

Hey Folks ,
This is an update on start times.The start time has been pushed back from 1230 to 130.This is due to the ESB's inability to provide a flood in Newbridge before then.So the new entry time is 1230 and start time is 130.
