Go For It
Bored of basketball? Sick and tired of soccer? Want to put some adventure into your sports? Ever wondered how to get involved in sports with a difference?
Well, check out GFI - Go For It, The Den's new adventure sports series on Wednesday's at 4.10pm. It looks at all sorts of adventure sports from surfing to rock climbing, karate to archery and everything in between.
Each week GFI features one young person who tells us all about their slightly unusual, out of the ordinary, sport. The training involved, costs, safety aspects, and fun to be had.
Then they have one week to prepare for the GFI Challenge - and be warned this is serious. Our sports challenge really pushes our GFIers to the limit. If they succeed, they win a GFI Kit Bag and sports gear worth €200.
GFI is open to YOU. If you're aged between 8 and 13 years, and are involved in an adventure sport or slightly unusual sport tell us about it. So dump that Playstation, forget footie, get out there and GO FOR IT.
