Canoe Polo In Nashville

okay, i can sortof already expect the responses i might get, but i'll give this one a shot:

are there people in the Nashville, TN area playing canoe polo?

i used to play with my high school team when i lived in japan. i'm just now starting to miss it. there were only 5 high school teams in japan, so it's not really that popular over there, either.

Sounds like somebody needs to start a club in the Volunteer State. :thumbup:

i'm afaid so. i emailed the regional rep Brad Carr and asked him if he knew of anyone, but he doesn't. he says there are plenty of whitewater paddlers in the area so i might get them interested. i don't really know any paddlers in town so i guess i have to start there. :(

the only time i came close to canoe polo was when i met this french guy in college. he used to play in high school too and we were both amused that we coincidentally met in the middle of nowhere. it sounded me like it's not all that popular in france.
