Thought Some of you might like an update similar to the one I give WWKC.

All to play for in the Dublin league with several WWKC and Kilcock teams plying for position.
Div 1
Only one Div 1 game played last week. This moved Spectre up into 2nd place within 1 game of WWW. Bazaar also moved up one place. With only two games left each to play and only 1 point between the top three teams it could be anyones game. Spectre have the hardest path playing the 1st and 3rd team. The others all play the bottom team.
Div 2
Mighty Ducks are currently sitting on top of Div 2 but they have a 2 game advantage on the other teams and it will not take much top knock them oif their pedestal. The crunch game will be between Grade 5 and Sandycove as they are on equal points and the other two teams are out of contention having lost their first two matches. Mighty Ducks, Blazers and Kamikaze have done well considering they moved up from Div 3 this season. They managed to stay in the top 5.

The fight for 6th place is on in the bottom table. OHSC are currently at the top but as with Mighty Ducks they have a 2 game lead. Wasseratten are the only team that can beat them as there is a 5 point difference currently. A win and a noscore draw would secure the spot for Wasseratten.

Div 3
The league in Div 3 has come down to the last game with Pyranahs the likely winners. They only have to show up for their last game to ensurre they have the league, but their superior gaol difference makes them vertually uncatchable. Panic, who only moved up to Div 3 this season, are riding second but Dragons have a one game advantage and can easily catch them (unless they lose both their last two games and Panic win theirs). Dragons play both the top two teams so it will be likely that the crunch game will be between Panic and Dragons for the league. Cobras are likely to remain at the bottom as Screwballs only have to show up for their last game. Screwballs also only moved up this year. Screwballs can go ahead of Elixir to knock Elixir into 5th place.

Div 4
Smarties are also currently riding at the top of Div 4 having knocked Vagabond off their pedestal were they have set for most of the season. Will the crucial two scratch games make a difference for both teams. Vagabonds only have tyo show up for their last two games to ensure pole. Tornados have a change of goign equal on points with Smarties but with only two games to play and one of them against Vagagbonds the changes of them winning both games and getting a goal difference of 13 goals is slim. If Rodeo Riders win their two games they have a chance of over taking Tornados. As they both train with each other, their last games on Friday night could be worth watching.

Polo Update ----> 1 Week to go
With the Dublin league running into its last week the final positions are beginning to take shape.

In Division 1
Division 1 still have it all to play for with WWW holding a 1 point lead over Spectre and Demons. All of these have two games to play. Spectre have the hardest path having to play both Demons and WWW. The other two teams play bottom place Oddballs. Oddballs need to get a win and a draw to go above Mohawks.

Division 2
Top league
Sandycove and Grade 5 have two games to play and Mighty Ducks are only 2 points in the lead with no games left to play. Grade 5 probably have an easier route playing Blazers (currently bottom of the top league but 5th overall) but the real decider will be the first game of the night in which Sandycove play Grade 5. This will be the decider game of the league. The match between Kamikaze and Blazers will probably decide the 4th/5th position.

Bottom league.
All games are now completed in this section. The top team in this league are sixth overall. OHSC nipped into the lead ahead of Wasseratten with a goal difference of only 2 goals (both teams on equal points). Frogspawn secured 8th place and Bombadas and then Sharks in 9th/10th respectively.

Division 3
Pyranahs only have to show up to win Div 3 but their superior goal difference (31) means that they could sit at home and watch the telly and still take the league. Dragons are currently in third but are looking like they might pip Panic (who only moved into Div 3 this season) into 3rd place. Dragon currently have a game on hand and are only one point behind Panic. Dragons though have to play both of these teams are I would say the old rivalaries between teams from the same club (i.e. Dragons and Pyranahs) will bud though to make these two games worth watching. If Screwballs show up on Saturday then the ensure that Cobras stay in the bottom position. but they need a win against Cobras to knock Elixir (their club rivals) down into 5th. Screwballs also only entered Div 3 this season.

Division 4
Division 4 is also complete. Vagabonds have secured their place for promotion to Div 3 by winning all games. Lets see how they perfrom in Div 3 next season. Smarties pipped Tornados (new team this season) into 2nd place by 1 point but the other WWKC's new team, Rodeo Riders, ended up in fourth. This knocked the team with the youngest players in the league into 5th place.
