Chairperson, Irish National Canoe Polo Committee.

The post states

There are three squads playing canoe polo in Irelans.
Mens Squad.
Womens Squad.
U.21 Mens Squad.

The National Committee would like to request resumes and letters of application for the managers and coaches for the three squads. Please forward applications to the Chairperson.

There is no date indicated when the applications closes.

I know we do not have an U.21 Ladies Squad at present but from attending competitions I have observed a lot of young Girls playing canoe polo. If a coach and manager was available to encourage and show that there is an interest from the national committee to encourage and provide training we may have girls to come together even if they are young to build for the future.

Do not say it will be taken on board by the new development officer as I feel it should be abvertised with the above group.

Tony

Thanks for the correction.

Caoimhe is doing up the official poster and she is more familiar with the womens development. I will ask her to take this into account.

The posting is in the canoepolo.ie website. I put this up to try and change the look of the site.

We will get this ammended when I see the poster.

The poster should highlight the date. This will before Christmas as we would like to see the teams being developed.

Adrian.

(P.S. Grainne how did your trip to SA that you win on the radio go)

You did not reply so there will not be any committment to develope the womens U.21.

I know a new development officer post has to be filled from the present committee, but a lot of the committee will hopefully be on the senior squads and will be busy training / competing in compititions and if a manager and coach was in place they would take a lot of the pressure off the development officer.

any comment
