Just when i thought a good polo season had started, it's almost over. With the summer season in wellington looking doubtful and nationals not for another few months (not that ill get to play national league) what is there else to do?

What do you guys do between the seasons, especially to keep those polo skills and the fitness up?

I would suggest that you get a team together and head down to the South Island Champs in Chch, early November.......see further down in th threads for information.

From what ia hear this is a great tournament that caters for a variety of team levels.

I'd be keen for a game in Open grade at that comp, just have to get the $$$ sorted out for the flight. And also, a team that will tolerate me, even if it's just fetching beers at the bar and decorating the sub area with my kayak.
