What does the entry fee cover?

More to the point Jimmy, why is it only $120........most of the North Island Competitions are $150!!
Hopefully you utilise the money to continue the upkeep of Lake Roto Kohato...what an awesome venue!! I suppose it also takes some money to run a few highly successful National League teams.

What does the entry fee cover?
It covers the cost of a portaloo, so you don't have to go in the bushes; a marquee in case of sun or rain; prizes; possibly competition balls (?); and hopefully a bit of profit for next years squads.
All that for just $20 per player, its a steal!

My apologies James, I'll put it to the MCPA committee that we up the fee for next year so that we can have cohesion between the South and North Islands.
Jenni is correct though, the fee is based on $20 per person for a team of six. But if you bring more people the cheaper it will be.
In regards to what the money goes towards, hopefully by the time the competition comes around we will be able to show you.

Your guess is as good as mine Calum. The joy of running these things is guessing who is going to show up. So far I have received numerous emails saying that teams are coming (Nelson, Dunedin, Palmerston North and Christchurch), but so far not a single entry form has been returned. Even my own club has yet to decide what teams it'll enter. I suppose we'll all know closer to the competition.
