I have just posted a couple of photos from this year Irish Open 2004. There is a good selection of the wining teams. The rest is OKish as the weather on Sunday was photo-unfriendly. As usual you will find the photos on our club web: http://www.kilcockcanoepoloclub.com/

Well done to all the organisers. Thanks to the people who were on duty tables who don't even play polo.

It was good to be able to do the refs exam too and be shadowed for games.

Again, well done and thanks to all involved.

Agree with all that was said above. Well done to all.... cold and miserable for all those on the tables and huts.... thanks again. One question.... is this a first .... a polo comp that runs on time?? in fact ahead of time?

I would like to extend the thanks to all the helpers on the day. As mentioned most of the people on the table do not even canoe. This shows the committment to the parents/friends of paddlers to help the sport along.

My job was in the hot pub dealing wiht the results. This lasted from 7.30am until 8.00pm on the Saturday and from 7.30am until 4.00pm on the Sunday. The table officials had similar timescales.

Well done to Maire and her helpers for organising, running, setting up, stripping down and facilitating all enquiries connected with the tournament.

Yes it was wet, windy and almost cold, however a massive thanks to all from all the Blakedown teams who finally got back to the Midlands at 0500 hours.

The hospitality from all was as ever second to non, we would particularly like to thank Maire and Adrian who’s efforts were well and beyond what could be expected from any event organiser.

Once again thanks!!
