ok I plan to drive down for this so if anyone is interested in getting a team together let me know if you want in. I'll have a trailer for boats so get it to me quick. $100 for boat transport there and back.

I haven't played polo in quite awhile but seem to have some money lying around, so if anyone is interested in organising a second -slightly less competitive- team I would be willing to join in and go 50/50 on the paddeling-party ratio....
just let me know.

I'm with Tyler, having not paddled much this summer I would be willing to be on a slightly less competative team. I would also need to fly into Austin as I have mid terms right around that tme and my instructors are not too good with giving us exempts on them.

If any of you is willing to make a detour through Seattle, I would put y'all up at my place and pay to send my boat with you.
Otherwise, are there any people from Vancouver, BC driving down to Austin? I think that the Seattle folks are going to send down a team, but I don't know if they have room for me since I only moved here 2 days ago. I looking to hitch a ride for my boat primarily, and also a ride for me if I take time off from the job that I don't have yet.

I know Janice in Cali is driving boats to Austin. You might want to contact her. I believe she is in the San Diego area. That is the closest person I know to you who is doing that.
Any of you Canadians going down to Austin:
1) As it is going to be an international flight, you will probably have to go through Dallas/Fort Worth airport. If for any chance you get waylayed, or just want to take some extra time for yourselves, I am willing to put people up and what not in the Dallas area. You all have been exceptional at billiting us when we come up there, so now it is our turn. :)
2) If you are driving down, again, the offer is open to stay in Dallas. It is approx. 3 1/2 hour drive from Dallas to Austin. I will be leaving early Friday morning to drive down there and am willing to haul people/boats if I can get a trailer.
3) For those of you who are concerned about saving a little extra money, you can fly into DFW on Thursday sometime (or red eye flights on Friday morning are alright as well) and I will pick yall up and we can all drive down. And back up again, some on Sunday evening and some on Monday. This will save you about $100 usd. In and around.
4) If flying out of Edmonton International, by taking United Airlines, you might be able to fly straight to Austin with one layover in Denver.
That's the best I can do as of now. Anyone wanting to come early and tour around, please do!
Hope to see all of you here!
Monica.

After going over my schedule and my money issues, I've come to the conclusion that I'm not able to make it to Austin. I'm really sorry for any inconveinces this has caused everyone. Enjoy the tournament.

Go Canada!
:canada:
Okay, so who is actually thinking of going down to Austin???
I think it is important to support them by attending their Nationals, when they always come up to ours!
I would like to figure out if I am going in the next week! Which really depends on the team or teams that I might be able to play with. I would probably prefer a competetive team, but I may be convinced to be on a development team.
Get back to me!
Thanks
