I am in Miyoshi. It is very hot and humid. We are thinking the temperature today will hit 39 Deg C. The opening cerimonies start in two hours.

There is a sign here indicating that there will be an internet broadcast of the worlds. The link is:

Is there any indication that there will be a test broadcast? Because I would like to be sure I have the right plugins and all before the real broadcast starts. So that I am certain I can watch the games online.

The website looks good. For the Dutch viewers, there is a 7 hour time difference. Wich translates to these broadcast times.

I suppose we won't see anything happening untill the broadcast will commence, in the previous messagges and also on the website it is stated that the broadcast will commence on the following moments:

You can try opening the URL of the stream in Windows Mediaplayer (I use 9), here is the adress of the first stream:

As we speak I am making an effort to capture the ASF file, I'll try to make it available as soon as the broadcast is finished. I haven't seen any copyright protection, so I assume I can distribute it freely? Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about this. Because my Japanese is as good as my Chinese, can't read either.

so if you succeed, maybe you can share it, or some games (don't need all the chitchat between the games of course) on Kazaa.

I had to go out of the house for some time this afternoon, so i missed about between 15:00 and 16:00. :-(

Well I'll do my best. Although it will take some time to edit it all, to make multiple smaller files from the actual matches. I'll probably try to get it in AVI format.

Is it possible to create subtitles for AVI files? It would be nice if there were English subtitles added afterwards. This way the canoepolo community could reach out to a wider audience around the globe. Maybe I'll request this at a later stage after the editting is done.

Hi,

The quality of the ASF streams that I've grabbed is really low. There are often a lot of missing frames, glitches while playing the ASF. I have the 'raw asf files' on my hard disk. But because of the file size I am not sharing these files online. The first ASF that I've grabbed is 255mb, the second 450mb. Feel free to contact me if you have a pretty fast internet connection (due to traffic limitation of my internet provider I cannot guarantee that you will receive the files whitin a small time period). If there is a lot of demand I might consider to use the BitTorrent protocol (this also will take some time to figure out).

Hi Grincer, nice working on saving the net broadcast
on ASF files. Does anyone else have done that ??

If so, I can share a FTP server during 2 or 3 mounths,
with a high traffic fast internet connection, from where
all of us can download those files.

If there are some problem on getting those files, please
send me a private message and I'll send my home address
in order to receive a CD with the files.

There was a problem in about May or so which meant I had to re-register. That didn't work very smoothly so I contacted the site 'manager' via the on-page 'contact us' option and he sorted it really quickly for me.

Best thing seems to be ask direct. They're really helpful.
