...I know.....I think people there live in those igloos and eat only fish....I have heard that there`s only forrests and ice lakes.....In Finaland is very cold, so only animal which is able to survival, is an icebear....
thats it...
oh, I nearly forgot: There live also some arctic hippos called Muumi(s)...
Well, only a joke.. Those things are just some legends of Finland which I have heard or read....:wavey: :silly:

Well, I have met one or two. And both of them drank like fish. (they drank lots of alcohol) :)
I just have visions of lots of skiing and winter time. No igloo's or Inuits running around. Doesn't Santa Claus live there?:D :silly:

Hi niall!
I am impressed that you know about santa living in Finnland! :)
Yes, we finns drink lot of alcohol. I mean that many finns have taken "too much" also after the teenager years... But we have had really nice time with the irish people... ;)

Hi,
Laura - it sounds like you have a story to tell. ;) Anyway I know you Finn's all drink moonshine (home made alcohol) and Aquavit, or was it petrol?:D Well never mind, are any of you coming across to the Irish open at the end of september? Maybe we could have that Ireland v Finnland then in case you can't play us at the world's.:silly:
So tell me what finnland is really like. I worked with a finnish girl for awhile but all she wanted to do was party:thumbup: not talk about home. :p
Well all I know about Finland, is what I learned from a song :p

You never know, I might be able to get it played at the Worlds if you ask
nicely :D :silly:

Well, I know lot's of finns who make wine at home but I don't know anyone that would do strong stuff. I think the reason why finns drink so much abroad is that the alcohol is expensive here.
And you shouldn't forget the long dark winter when it is freezing here and the iglues are needed... ;)

Yeah, it's not always freezing here. This summer has been very warm. :) Temperatures above 25 degrees have been very common. And this week it rained for the first time this month.

You are just trying to fool me. I see right through your double bluff. I have an image of finland and your trying to make me believe that there are no igloo's and the such. But since showing me igloo's is not an option you show me this sun shinning knowing I won't believe it is real and know there are igloo's there. So your just trying to give the impression that there are no igloo's there to everyone else while at the same time letting me know there are igloo's there.
But that's OK, I understand.:D
