How to evolve from Pending Member into Registered User? What is the difference between them?

Reply to the mail that you get sent when you register. That is all there is to it.

A registered user is able to use private messages and get full access to all the forums.

How to evolve from Pending Member into Registered User? What is the difference between them? Just to clarify, a Pending member is someone who hasn't activated their account and so will not have access to all areas of the website. The activation email is always sent to you when you register!
