Adriano,

Welcome in Belgium! We practise on Mondays and Thursdays from 19.00 till dark.
Our pitch is locate on the Watersportbaan. The Watersportbaan is really easy to locate on a map of Gent. It is some kind of artifical 2 km long lake on the city limits.
Bring a shirt, towel and some soap (No one of us brings soap so we can all use yours!).

If you come by train it is a 20 minute walk from the main railwaystation (Gent-St-Pieters). Exit the station from the main entrance/exit. Look to left and notice a tunnel which leads under the railroad. Then start turning clockwise and notice a gray building (post office) another brick building and a street. Then there should be a sharp corner with a pub. To the right of that pub there is street called the Boudewijnstraat. Follow that street for 15 minutes until the first traffic lights. At the lights go the right until the next lights (150 m). Notice a rounabout in front of you. Cross the canal, leave one street to your right and follow the main street for 50 m. On your left you will see a frietkot (which cannot be translated in English but it a place/kiosk/container where they sell french frites) cross the mainstreet and follow the street right of the frietkot. Now you will see a big parking on your left, the wtaresportbaan in front of you and the GEKKO clubhouse on your left. Walk to the real of the building and shout 'Anybody there?'

If you come by car just figure it out by yourself how to get there. The city of Gent supports a traffic plan which aims to discourage people from using there car. As a result is can be tricky/interesting to find your way.

When you come by train but feel insecure to get to our club send me a private message. I live 200 meters from the railwaystation. I can show you the way.

See you,
Sebastiaan

Don't use the tunnel just locate it. In front of the railwaystation there is a square with about 6 streets. Locate the tunnel and then start turning clockwise to find the second street (Boudewijnstraat). It is not so difficult as I explained it.

The map on the website will bring you within 500 meters from our club. However, Gekko is located at the oposite side of the Watersportbaan.
