Hey Henk,
Its usually raining for the two days of the Irish Open, no matter
what the weather is for the rest of the month.
Just bring a lot of warm clothes for on the bank and you should be okay.

Is there anywhere we can throw up a tent. I know there is only room for 2-3 tents on the canal. But is there a field or GAA pitch near by???
We used to be able to camp at the school, they had a pitch there that they
let ppl use, but I heard a rumour that we cant do that this year, coz they are
building an extension.
Anyone know for definite?

Yes, does anyone know?
It would be nice to put all the drinkers in one spot. That way we can arrange who is playing first thing on sunday morning and who gets to scratch.:D
There is building work going on in the school so we will not have access to it this year. We are however looking at an alternative and will let people know well in advance of the competition.
