Just wanted to say that the US Nationals last weekend at UNH in New Hampshire were awesome! A big thank you and "job well done" to all the organisers

Also, thanks to Dragon for bringing 2 teams over and giving us a taste of European style polo. I hope in future more European teams will consider "crossing the pond" - I guarantee you'll have a good time :p

Where can we find the results from the US Nationals 2002?
I could not find them on the New England site!

Speaking on behalf of the organizing committee, we are still catching up on sleep and will be posting the results soon.

Check back at www.necanoepolo.org/nationals2002/index.htm later in the week and they should be posted. There will be pictures of the event posted there as well.

Thanks Tristan, for the kind words and thanks to Dragon, Wimpy Dragon, the Canadians, as well as all the US teams for participating and making the tournament so successful!

Thanks to everyone over there for making our stay so enjoyable.

The reason why they results weren't up is because the aftermath of trying to keep up drinking with the Dragon boys has left some folk a little worse for wear !

We did have a great time, and are now seriously tralking about heading up to Edmonton next year for the EWP comp next March to play with the snow as well.

Many thanks to you all.

This is a correction to previous postings regarding this topic.

For the 2003 US Nationals the only hard restriction is that players on an Open A team will not be allowed to play on an Open B team.

While players will be allowed to play on more than one team in most circumstances, it is highly discouraged and should only be done when a team would otherwise not be formed (i.e. if a player was to play on only one team and this would cause another team to fall below a 5-player roster).

So, here's how it goes with team combinations.

Open A and Open B - NOT ALLOWED
Open A and Women - ALLOWED
Open A and Under 21 - ALLOWED
Open B and Women - ALLOWED
Open B and Under 21 - ALLOWED
Women and Under 21 - ALLOWED

Again, players should be assured that if they play on one team there will be enough games for them at Nationals so please do not play on two teams just to get more games.

Sorry for the incorrect info before.

Patrick or anybody...

Anybody know the current word on camping? Are we allowed to just throw up a tent? Parking lot? Sleep in a car?

I plan to use it as a home base whether I stay every night or not.

A lot would like to know, hence posting here.

From Katherine:

"Camping during Nationals is fine.

There'll be signs up as to where you can camp when you get there - basically right next to the pool.

Cheers,
Katherine"
