I look at the sport we all play, compared with some of the sports in the olympic games (archery and clay shooting to name a few?) and i wonder why canoe polo isn't one of the many sports! its one of the most entertaining sports i've ever come across!

Water polo is an olympic sport, why not have the next level up and have canoe polo in the olympics?

I believe that there has been talk about this over the last few years but haven't heard any more about it.

Would be a very good idea, but look at how long it took to get slalom into the olympics

We are in the WORLD GAMES 2005, that will take place in Germany in Duisburg.
That is the first step we have to take... and show the whole world how attractive and spectacular our sport is!

Once somebody had the idea of a WATERSPORTS OLYMPIC GAMES...

Odo,
If you would like some feedback on the subject, you can read all replies to my thread "Canoe Polo In The Olympics", posted on page 3 of this forum, plus the result of the poll of when the game could be introduced into the Games.

Yup - easy mistake to make - but there can be only one Odo.
