Hi everybody!
Thank you all for a nice tournament! And a special thanks to our long way guests from Tampere, Köping and Kiruna. I hope your journey home went well also!
We wanted to make an effort to increase the standard of the judging on this tournament and I personally think it was a success! All the credits to the referees that did a great job during the weekend.
Now to the results!
First the B- pool:
1. KKK 2
2. StiL 4
3. LKK 2
4. LKK 1
KKK 2 dominated this pool and also won the game against the last team in the A-pool. They shall defiantly play in the A-pool next time. StiL 4, which was a all ladies team and the 2 LKK teams also played well and hopefully we have a hole bunch of "soon to become canoepolo training" youngsters coming into the sport.
The A-pool:
1. KGP
2. Kajak
3. StiL 1
4. KaMe
5. KKK 1
6. StiL 3
7. StiL 2
8. FPK
It was very tight in both A-pools in the preliminary round. Everybody had to fight hard for the semi-final places. StiL came first in the A1 pool followed by KaMe. In the A2 pool Kajak manage to take the first place from KGP in a very exciting shoot out!
In the first semi KGP (unfortunately ;)) won over StiL 1 with 4-3 and in the other semi Kajak won over Kame with 6-3.
StiL 1 then manage to win over KaMe with 5-3 to take 3:d place.
The final was tight all the way to the end but KGPs tight defence and excellent shooting finally was to much for last years winner, Kajak. KGP won the final with 5-4 and got possession of the desirable StiL trophy!
All the credits to KGP!!!! :worship: :worship: :worship:
But remember, the trophy is up for a new fight next year! :matrix:
I'll attach the details from the competition in a zip-file.
Hope to see U all in a (canoepolo) pool soon!
Cheers,
