Noticed the following discrepancy in the latest schedule for 17 Jan:
14 1000-1015 RJC vs NUS 3
26 1400-1415 NUS 3 vs RJC
The other issue is that each team in Gp A should be playing 4 games instead of the 3 games allocated since there are 5 teams in the group.
Appreciate yr attention to these matters. Thanks.

For the Ladies Open,
9 2010-2025 NP vs RED TIDE
10 2030-2045 NP vs SPG
is there anyway tt the 10th game be shifted to a later time?
and for the Mens Open,
1 1730-1745 5 FRENZ vs NP JRS
there are some workin adults in NP JRS,n would like to appeal for it to be played at a later slot if possible..
thanks for ur understanding..
Men's Open
TP 2 is in Grp A, it should be a match up against NUS 3 instead of NUS 2.
19) 1140 - 1155 NUS 2 vs TP 2
Notice the repeated matches.
24) 1320 - 1335 NJC A vs TP 2
32) 1600 - 1615 NJC A vs TP 2
Lastly, the TP 2 vs RJC match has been left out from the fixtures.
Thanx for your attention!
Cheers

Kinda confusing.
I apologise to any confusion we have cause to you.
As the organiser, we try our best to fulfill all the request we have receive, this also explains why the schedule is revise over and over again because we hope that everyone will enjoy the game. During the revision of the schedule we try our best to ensure that the team will be able to make it on time and at the same time ensure that no team will play for 2 consecutive games. Therefore we hope for your understanding of the confusion that have been brought to you.
See ya!

This is with regards to the fixtures for the Men's Open Gp A matches. NUS 3 will not be playing any match on the 16th but has to play 4 matches on the 17th. This is going to be very tiring for NUS 3. On the other hand, SP B and NJC A will be playing 2 matches on both days.
Can I suggest that the match between NJC A and SP B be changed such that NUS 3 replaces 1 of these 2 teams in the match? I understand that it's very close to the competition date but I'll really appreciate if the organising committee can be kind enough to look into this. Thank you.

Hi,
Seems like the officials part of the game is not very set yet, esp the roster for the referees.
Suggest you finalise the referees schedule and quickly send to us. Not very fair to the teams if referees are not rostered fairly (there was one game during the men's heats where a referee officiated a game played by another team from the same organisation). Also it would be taxing to some referees if they were thrown last minute requests to referee consecutive games simply because not enough referees are present.
I've been hearing rather negative comments on this aspect of SRRR since some years back. While the SRRR has been well organised on the whole thus far, this is one area which has been rather neglected.
Hope to see the organisers make the games even better by improving in this.
Cheers,
:wavey:
i tink u overlook abt the semi finals...

Ah good. Right outside Riverside Point? I'll see what I can do then for you guys. Just scared my lens isn't long enough to reach for the action. Also I will be damned careful about seawater on the camera - seawater is damned corrosive!!! :p
BTW, the referees will be in kayaks also?

Referee 1 will be walking along the side while referee 2 will be on the power boat.
The whole playing area will be near to one side of the river, it's not right in the center, so think your lens shd be able to capture the movements ya!

Clarification.
Paddle Culture is NOT a team. Paddle Culture is a Canoeing & Kayaking Company which promotes the sport & its various sub-disciplines (whitewater, open waters kayaking, canoe polo etc) to schools and other organized groups.
The Men's team that participated in SRRR trains at Paddle Culture and is called 5-Friends. Several other teams train at Paddle Culture - such as RJSea, NJC and once in a while HCJC and VJC.
It so happens that I play as a member of Team 5-Friends. But that is not to be confused with Paddle Culture - WHICH IS STRICTLY A NEUTRAL BODY that promotes the sport commercially and non-commercially, depending on the market needs and context.
Cheers,
-lc
